Bio: I (Rachael, or R.E. Barbash, if you will) grew up in Columbus, Ohio. Locally, I've taken classes in general photography, history and dark room at Ohio State University where I'm currently working toward a BA in art with a minor in Communications.

Neat stuff: I won first place for the (not-so) Secret Show in the documentary category for Columbus Alive's 7th Annual Photo Contest.
I've also had pictures used by: The Cinema Eye, Billy Corgan, Dresden Dolls, Elefant, Jupiter Sunrise, Kill Hannah, Revolvers, Shiny Toy Guns and The Sun.

Equipment: Most of my photos pre-3.06 were taken with a Canon EOS Rebel TI 35mm and I've recently aquired a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT.

History: heroine-dreams.com was born in September of 2004 with the great help of Terry Roberts who did the original design and pretty much taught me how to work the internet and Boss of Love-Sick.net who took the picture to the upper right and designed the banner seen at the top of most of my pages.
